FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
What we are asked about the Fit Call, plans, access, backup and scope.
Fit Call
What happens on the Fit Call?
It is a free 30-minute call with a person. The call confirms your business requirements, Microsoft 365 user count, current licences, backup arrangements, devices, existing IT-provider relationship and which OneOfZero service may suit you. No tenant access, audit or technical assessment takes place during the Fit Call.
Plans and pricing
How much do the plans cost?
Pricing depends on your users, devices, licence commitment and support requirements. We confirm it in writing after the Fit Call, before you agree to anything.
How are Microsoft 365 licences handled?
Licence charges are separate from OneOfZero's management fee. Essentials works with Business Basic, Standard or Premium, depending on your agreed requirements. Secure & Recover and Managed Workplace require Business Premium. Licensing arrangements are confirmed in your written proposal. The Fit Call confirms which licence suits your business.
Is there a minimum term?
Secure & Recover and Managed Workplace use a 12-month managed-service agreement, which includes the complete Resilience Onboarding Review. Terms for each plan are set out in your proposal before you commit.
What is included in ongoing support?
It depends on your plan. Essentials covers licence administration, limited user onboarding and offboarding, and standard Microsoft escalation assistance. Secure & Recover adds fair-use Microsoft 365 support and quarterly service reviews. Managed Workplace adds device enrolment, broader fair-use remote IT support, prioritised support within the service terms agreed in writing, and a quarterly technology review. Support covers reasonable day-to-day requests within your plan. Fair-use limits, service boundaries and response expectations are set out in your agreement. Support is not unlimited.
What does fair-use support mean?
Support covers reasonable day-to-day requests within your plan. Fair-use limits, service boundaries and response expectations are set out in your agreement. Support is not unlimited.
Access and onboarding
Will you need access to our Microsoft 365?
Not for the Fit Call or the Readiness Check. A Resilience Review or managed plan needs access to your tenant, and written authorisation is required before any tenant access.
Does the Readiness Check inspect our setup?
No. The Readiness Check is eight questions and takes about two minutes in your browser. It relies only on your own answers, which are not technically verified, and needs no login or tenant access. Your answers remain in your browser.
What is the Founding Resilience Review?
While OneOfZero completes its founding programme, five eligible New Zealand businesses can receive a complimentary Microsoft 365 Resilience Review. It has no purchase obligation. Applicants must meet the published eligibility conditions.
Do we have to buy a plan after a Founding Review?
No. The Founding Review is complimentary and you are under no obligation to buy anything. We ask for honest feedback. A case study or testimonial is optional and only with your permission.
Backup and security
Can you guarantee we will not lose data or be compromised?
No. Managed security, backup monitoring and quarterly sample restore tests improve your position, but no service can guarantee security, compliance, uptime or the recovery of every item.
Scope and exclusions
What is not included in a plan?
Projects, migrations, incident recovery, on-site work, hardware and material pre-existing remediation are separately scoped and approved.
